About Banh Mi House
Victnamese Sandwich, Pho and Bubble Tea
Banh Mi House is a vietnamese in Staten Island, New York. It is listed at 565 Manor Rd, Staten Island, NY 10314, which places it among the local businesses of Staten Island that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bubble tea store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Staten Island, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (347) 861-7473. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, banhmihousenyc.com.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely sick for days after eating phoβ¦ I only eat a meal a day so this was very upsetting. I canβt in the life of me understand why they put lettuce in the pho, knowing thereβs national recalls going on

Iβve been here many times and will keep going. If youβre vegan and are looking for really good pho and bahn mi, this is where you should be. To make any vegetarian sandwich vegan, tell them no butter and vegan mayo; to make the pho vegan, ask for veggie broth. They have tofu and a variety of vegan meats for both pho and bahn mi sandwiches that are delicious.

where do I start.....π I begin by saying that if the owner and the atmosphere were all I loved, I'd be lying. I am super hooked on the beef pho, which I have had the privilege of enjoying for over a year or two. The broth is so good on it's own like it was taken special care of like a newborn baby to give birth to the base for this elegantly plated soup. whenever it rains, I see a soup beacon in the sky, and I rush to Bahn mi house. I leave here satisfied and a bit sweaty because my face never leaves the bowl π. I have had great conversations with the owner, and the family are hard working humble and kind people. I don't see myself not coming here again. of course, there are other things to eat, like banh mi sandwiches and Boba tea, but I just always order the soup π². if you like soup, then come here, you won't regret it.

A great small spot in Staten Island. The staff is very nice and helpful. I ordered ahead for pick up. I got around there like 2-3pm and the place had a lot of students. Great deals for students. I ordered the fried fish bahn mi. Very delicious. The fish wasnβt as crunchy as I thought it would be, but very flavorful. The veggies are delicious. The bread was perfect. Crunchy but not too hard where it hurts your gums. A great place for some bahn mi

I had passed by this restaurant quite a few times, and boy am I happy that I finally ate here. I stopped by with my S/O and she got the grilled chicken banh mi, I got one of the rice dishes with fried fish. I wish I could kiss the chef! The food was so amazing and I wanted to go back just to applaud them. The people behind the counter were friendly as well, which is rare on this island. I would highly recommend this place.
